STEM PD Community

The STEM PD Community of Practice (STEM CoP) aims to bring together researchers, practitioners and stakeholders from around the world to discuss issues related to education. STEM CoP develops STEM Curriculum and runs STEM PD programmes in different countries. STEM CoP also publishes journals and books in the field of STEM education.<\/p>

STEM CoP organises the \u2018International STEM Education Conference\u2019 and its social media channels provide resources for teachers and launches an online forum for teachers and lecturers. Teachers First Foundation is one of the annual participants of this conference.<\/p>

As Teachers First Foundation, we are excited to announce that we have entered into a strategic collaboration with the EU-funded ICSE Science Factory, which aims to address the gaps in science education and literacy, in partnership with Hacettepe University Stem&Maker Lab. This collaboration aligns well with our core mission to promote educator wellbeing and continuous learning. ICSE’s focus on building strong cross-sector partnerships and community engagement strongly supports our extensive networking and targeted trainings for educators in Turkey and abroad. Through our partnership, we are not only raising standards in science education, but also contributing to the well-being of teachers through mentoring programmes and activities to solve real problems in society. This collaboration not only enriches our existing work but also increases our capacity to make a holistic and sustainable impact on the education ecosystem.<\/p>

The Teach First Foundation is a part of the \u2018Horizon 2020\u2019 programme, which aims to strengthen the European Union scientifically and technologically, increase Europe’s innovation capacity, competitiveness and employment, meet societal priorities, and sustain Europe’s socioeconomic models and values. It is one of the stakeholders of the European Union Project titled \u2018Open schooling for science education and a learning continuum for all\u2019 coordinated by ICSE Science Factory under the Framework Programme.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
